HMS Waterfowl Hunting Club, located in Ballard county near the wildlife refuge, was established in 1970. It offers some of the best waterfowl hunting in the area, and features 40 acres of flooded corn in 4 different plots. We have an extensive levee system which allows for draining and planting in spring, and flooding in the fall. Our blinds are clean, dry, covered and heated with under the seat baseboard electric heat. Most blinds have telephones, coffee makers and dog boxes. Our two largest blinds feature refrigerator and cooking facilities.
All water blinds are equipped with ice-eaters. Both ice-eaters and rotating wings are hard wired and switch operated from inside blind. We have 9 blinds, 2 of which are field goose pits, available for hunting, depending upon where the birds are feeding at the time. We provide all decoys and rotating wings, but you may bring additional rotating wings if desired. We have very experienced and courteous guides for all first time visitors, and thereafter for anyone who desires or needs guiding.
2011-2012 Season
We are offering a limited number or prepaid hunts. Hunts are for 5 people for 2 days at a total price of $1250.00. This price includes $25.00 per head per day for guide fees. All hunts must be guided, no exceptions.
Hunters are guaranteed 1st choice of blind on 1st day and 2nd choice on 2nd day. Reservation must be made and payment received by Nov. 1, 2011. Mail check to: HMS Hunting Club 6425 St Andrews Dr. Paducah, KY 42001 - Call for additional information including possible limited free lodging . |
